Today was the first day of the Burton US Open Slopestyle at Stratton, Vermont. Pre-Qualification. The day was epic, sunny and warm with a bit of a breeze to keep the snow cool. Hyna (Nick Hyne) and I were in the second heat which started at midday which was sweet, the first heat had to get up at the crack and start practice at 8am, I'm sure it was icey. The course is super fun with a couple of boxes at the top into three jumps and then a massive launch rail or box option.

Today was just pre-quailification so from a hundred n something people down to 40. It ended up being super slushy and a little bumpy by our runs but managed to make it thru into qualifying tomorrow Hyna 19th and myself 7th place in our heat which was sweet. Looking hot tomorrow again.
