Day two of the Burton US Open today saw another super warm sunny slushy day. It was qualification today so the 40 riders left from yesterday were narrowed down to 15 to go through to the semi's tomorrow against the invited riders.

The course held up good today, nowhere near the slushy takeoff bump fest of yesterday. The level of riding is crazy with everyone throwing down - the finals are going to be mental.
My first run was pretty good and my second run I just about fell over before the first rail. Hyna was lookin good but didn't get his run in the end. "gutted but had fun" was all he had to say. I just made it through to the semi's which I was stoked to do.. Looking forward to tomorrow, there will for sure be some crazy runs.
Checked out some of the 2011 Burton boards this arvo too, they have changed a bit from this year and are looking real good. I went for a ride on the new Easy Livin with the Flying V - only had two runs but it felt super nice.
