What is Misfit Art?
Misfit Art is a New Zealand company that promotes the snow sports lifestyle through screen printed garments and artwork.
How did it start?
During the 2004 season, I sat my snowboard instructors at Cardrona, Wanaka. I decided to screen print some leavers hoodies for the crew. People seemed to like what I was doing so I continued to sell printed clothes from my garage that season.

Whats your inspiration?
Everything around me when Im snowboarding, the people, the place, riders busting out or just messing about, butter combos, snowball fights, big cheese. Mostly the atmosphere and the lifestyle that we live is oh so unique and special.

Whats the plans for Misfit Art?
Orginally it started out as a side project but the demand from the public made me decide to push Misfit Art as a proper company. Im planning a trip to the U.S this season so Ill be looking at pushing the name out overseas.
One aim I have is to push the artwork side more; Id like to push the market for young fresh people to have and enjoy artwork rather then the rich and famous. We are still however looking into outerwear garments as well.

What products do you have?
We currently supply Dudes, Chickys and Kids hoodies, zip up and pullovers, T-shirts in a variety of styles and colours. You can choose from over 50 unique designs for screen printing on to the chosen garment. Limited edition prints are available using a variety of printing techniques, at A4, A3 sizes. Paintings are also available on request. A range of sizes are available.
Where can you get it from?
Products can be purchased via our website www.misfitart.co.nz, or via email for specific requests.

Last words...
