There was a young chappie called Lam
Not a bard to accuse of pomp and glam
Writes poems of poo
Well, you would do too
If your poetry ed was a sham

Try limericks, Lam, says Jellyroll
They're clever and funny and droll
A great place to start
To develop the art
Of poetry to gladden the soul

I tried to use jellyroll's advice
but still ma poems ain't sounding so nice
i can't stop refering to poo
i don't know what to do
i think i'll have a meal of rice

i don't know what limericks are say's Lam
thats why this poem is still pomp and glam
thanks for the idea's
i like Britney Spears
this poem is really a big sham

I wrote this when Mt Ruapehu erupted in '96...

A mountain erupts; I feel her rage
What is happening, in this day & age...?
A sense of injustustice; it passes me by...
'scuse me, while I kiss the sky!!! (thanx, Jimi)

Hanmer Springs

The ski area is a small club field with a friendly atmosphere. It is well suited to intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders who enjoy open spaces with groomed trails and a relaxed atmosphere away from the tow queues and hurly burly of commercial ski fields.
