Who managed to get to those two gigs during the week? I wanted to go to both, but wasn't able to, due to illness, dammit...

i wouldnt know what to choose, but you know me shred, i didnt go...
they would both be amazing gigs, especially if dj shadow had wicked good visuals.

Ha, yeppers; Invercargill is a touch outta the way for a trip to Akl for a gig... I heard a coupla reviews on bFM, for DJ Shadow, & they weren't that great, surprisingly. Haven't heard anything about Pennywise, yet... Rumoured to be coming down here @ the end of the year is Killswitch Engage; wicked!!!

How bout TRIVIUM for the big day out yeowwww!!!!!!! I cant wait!

Trivium are ok, I guess... I'm not sure about this years' BDO line up. Tool, Violent Femmes, Shapeshifter, Crystal Method, Minuit, & the Rabble are all that do it for me, this year.

Tenacious D, Roger Waters, & Deftones are what I'm really looking foward to seeing...

that week was hard, a crew were going to welly on the tuesday i think, for pennywise and a crew going to aucks for shadow where pennywise were playing aswell i think wednesday.
I went to shadow it was awsome, missed him last time but couldnt again.
I can remember almost staying in auckland all weekend for fly my pretties and sal dub but the snow was to big a draw card.
