Just wondering if anyone has any input on their favoured set ups. I will be going for some new stuff next year so would be good to see what others are riding with.

try on as many boots as you can. get a binding that fits your boot well. Flush around the heel cup and make sure the width is good aka no massive gaps down the side of the boot which creates movement. You could always get hard plates.

I have ION's + Cartels but I heard hard plate + rear entry Nordica ski boots are just as good. H_H was telling me they rule.

Yeah thats a fair call H_H. They have massive ass highbacks (which have a tendency to crack under emense downward chairlift pressure) and are set with a lot of forward lean standard (without even changing the setting on them!!) I like them but may not be everyones favourite. What do all o ya'll think of Union/Flux's latest offerings?

Flux is alright to ride in. I rode it in Japan in the winter but I reckon that Union are so much better. Flux binding is a little too low. Flux plate is also made out of plastic (pretty rubbish really). And i hate the cap strap!!! The only reason I rode it was I got it from a friend that work at a board shop.

The best combo have got to be :
Lib Tech Banana, Union Data, and DC boa boots. That would be awesome!!
Not in reality though I got Bataleon Evil Twin, Flux Pat Milbery, and DC graphix boa
