After 10 seasons of training intermediate and advanced adult riders in Whistler, Canada Pro Ride is back for their 11th season and brings something new to the table. This year Pro Ride will not only be offering freeride, freestyle and snowboarding instructor training, there will also be a new ‘World Trip’ to Japan in February and a new ‘Whistler Backcountry Experience’ in April.

“After each season we sit down and reassess our programs, listen to our past campers and coaches and look at where we can improve our programs. After a really successful trip to Argentina in the summer of 2007, Japan was the next logical choice. Japan powder riding is something that many of our campers have on their list to do so we are heading there in February. The ‘Backcountry Experience’ stems from an individuals natural desire to ride untracked lines and earn your turns. We are combining the great snow which Whistler offers in April with avalanche awareness and Pro Ride’s signature freeride training program for the “Whistler Backcountry Experience.” We also have the new Peak to Peak Gondola opening in December linking the two mountain giants of Whistler and Blackcomb. This season is going to be amazing and I am looking forward to it snowing so we can get back up there to shred.” Pro Ride Director Anthony Crute
