So while I was in Tahoe, I got to test some oh-10 gear. It was super rad and fun and I'm still very much stoked on that!
Here's the 2010 stuff I got to test:
Boards:
Burton Lipstick
Burton Blender
Ride Infinity
Gnu B Pro
Gnu B Street
Bindings:
Burton Lexas (EST)
Burton Escapades (EST)
As for the boards, both Burton's Lipstick and the Blender are reverse camber. Lipstick was more "reversed camber-y" than the Blender but both super fun boards. I personally liked the Blender a bit more. I was pulling tricks on that board I hadn't been able to pull before! (Or maybe I was just more co-ordinated that day...) The Infinity was also fun...who says you can't have fun on a regular cambered board! Liked the B Pro more than the B Street (both were BTX). The B Street is much more of a jibby board, but didn't handle speed as well as the B Pro.
Bindings, well, I'm not sold on the EST, to be honest. I didn't find them that much more responsive than their standard Lexas or Escapades. And the toe caps really pissed me off cuz they would fall off. At the bottom of every run, I'd find that the toe cap had fallen off my boots, unless you REALLY cranked them. But I must say, with EST, it is much quicker and easier making stance adjustments when on the hill.
Bring on NZ winter! And I still can't believe that they lost my snowboard in the USA...those f*ckers. I really want my B Pro...

Hi, so good to get personal feedback on the 2010 gear. I'm REALLY torn between the b-pro and the b-street this year. I'm def more of a freerider girl but would like to get more into park this year... which do you recommend? I'm just worried the street will be a little slow for me?. Is the b-pro real stiff? Thanks!!

Hey there! Just to let you know, the 2010 B Pro BTX is slightly different from the 09 B Pro BTX. Its got C(something, can't remember) but it's meant to be slightly stiffer. I've got the 09 B Pro and it's definitely not stiff at all because of the BTX. I'm not sure what the one without btx feels like. But with BTX, it's very soft. Super easy to press and butter.
I definitely don't think you'll have trouble with it being stiff if you're a freerider (and I'm assuming here you have been riding something on the stiffer side - oops that sounds dirty!). I have been riding an Option Bella and its pretty stiff so getting on a B Pro btx, the thing that I had to get used to was that it was so much softer. Really, I've only had one day on the B Pro and one day on the B Street. So while I was happy hitting 15-20 ft jumps on my Bella, I wasn't that keen to hit them while on the B Pro yet as I was still getting used to it.
Hope that helps.
Where do you normally ride? I'm in the south island...hit me up if you're around and want some girls to shred with!

The B street wont be slow. the base is super fast. the B pro is more directional and for shakabrahing the hill. To be honest the B street is one of the nicest shaped girls boards I have ever seen. A couple friends got them and they love em! The BTX makes it epic to ride. that shit is like cheating. Everything becomes easy and in pow it is a joke, too easy!
Oh and the B pro 2010 model has the BTX or the C2 power banana. depends on what you want. power banana is a little grippier.
Go the B street!
