These are three things that bug me about nzsnowboard.com...don't get me wrong there are 999 things that I think are awesome though.

1) it seems that the forum is really hard to get to the right place to add a new post. Sometimes I just can't find it...admittedly this is normally after a couple of billies....but still it seems kind of hidden.

2) you can't seem to comment on anything like photos or articles. This would probably create quite a bit more discussion on the site if you could do this.

3) why can't anyone with a login just write an article?

Also how about a car pooling section in the forum where people could line up ride-shares and stuff like that?

i think your right a car pooling fourm would be great probley beacause i need a ride to hutt lol and write your own articals would be shit hot but what abt a buyers guide or a reveiw fourm would b sweet

Good feedback. Stoked on it for sure.

1. I will get the programmer to add in a bigger and easier to link to 'New Post' button. Maybe one of the homepage and one on the forums pages. But yeah, your right. It maybe a lil hard to get where you want with the current layout.

2. You can already post on all photos and articles.... you just need to be logged in. But yeah.... maybe we should try it so anyone can post a comment? Let's give it a go and see how it plays out.

3. All articles are uploaded from the admin backend side so if anyone want's any content put up on the site you can just email us direct at info (at) NZsnowboard.com and we can make it happen. This also helps us moderate content making sure that everything is legit.

Car Pool - There is already a forum for 'Travel' so just link through there and post up there.



If you have any more ideas then please let us know. We want to make it NZsnowboard.com even better. Stoked guys...

Hmmm when I try and comment on a article/ photo it takes me to a page that says "Page not found"... give it a go and let me know if it works for you.

Yeah travel would be a good place for hooking up rides, didn't see that.

How about better profiles? maybe a private message feature?

No trouble with the forums, except the general atmosphere, or lack of should I say... Not a whole lot going on.

Update for ya all......

1. We have now added a 'New Post' button. One of the homepage and one on each of the forums pages so this should help making it easier to post.

2. Anybody can now post on all photos and articles.... Have a play and test it out!!!

Ha, It sure isn't as mellow as when I first joined the site, but it seems the threads that live the longest are the ones which bash something/someone.

Would be sweet to have a 'quick reply' box at the bottom of a thread too aye?

Yeah the anti-hutt post got some good bitchin going for sure! Maybe we need a seperate bitching category in the forum.

Cheers for fixing those things on the site nzsnowboard, that was pretty quick!! One other thing, it would be cool, as mentioned above if the reply to thread text box was on the same page as the thread itself, so you could scroll up and reference the post(s) you are replying to.
