Hey bro, I was in the same situation a few years ago. I went through a company called educating adventures its a new zealand based company which is sweet and have been working season in tahoe since. I know the visa applications are closing really soon so get emailing resorts asap!! I know squaw valley, northstar and heavenly (lake tahoe, california) resorts give our H2B visa's. This is the visa you will be wanting it means you can work at the resort just doesn't allow you to have more than the one job legally. Theres loads of other resorts which give them out but I know from talking with my boss at Squaw that alot of resorts are cutting back. Good luck mate and get emailing

I got a job in breck, co by just applying direct to the resorts in may, most of the employment pages will tell you if they will here internationals through the h2b visa programme, great times, there are lotsa people under 21 in these towns so you should be able to still have a great time. I have seen lots of info on jobs in canada on the lonely planet thorntree forum in the past could be worth a look. Have fun
