Hey hello everybody...

We will travel to NZ next august for snowboarding... but dont know where we should go!

Any suggestion? We are a freestyle snowboarder and skiier, we search a resort with a big park... :D


We have heard, that snowpark.nz is failured. Is that true?

Up until 09 season snowpark was fukn madness! how every they kinda lost it this year due to funding.

Cardrona have really stepped up there park! and there pipes are amazing! park is super fun and well maintained. super nice jumps, sick jibs, and a few we random things around the place, prety good mountain over all.

Remarks has a super sick park aswell! there jumps are fukn awesome.

toss up between Remarks and Cardrona.
Wanaka is a mellow as town with dope skate park.

Queenstown is fukn hectic in winter, sick night life tho, they have sick skate park aswell. i wudnt wnna live in qtwn for the whole season. lived in wanaka the season just been and it was fukn fun.

cardies and remarks arnt to far away from each other anyway so either way its good for a road trip to the one or the other.

Qtown = PARTY!
Wanaka = MELLOW!

Snow Park - fun and mellow
Cardies - all around hammers!
Remarks - legit park to get your slopesteez on

If I were you I would wait till the early bird passes come out and see who's ballin.

but if you live in Qtown buy a NZski pass and if your in Wanaka then SP or Cardies would be the go.

maybe try all 3 then you can make your own mind up then. They are all good for snowboarding

Remarks is good but i think Cardrona is better for park but it is getting very busy now, snow park has the best jibs hands down and when he jump line is on it is the best jump line in NZ.

Living in Wanaka and having a Snow park and a cardrona pass wouls be the ultimate.

I heard snow park had a good season last year money wise and are gonna be getting back to the high standard they used to have!

I had more fun at snowpark than anywhere else last season, so mellow with no people then you go to cardies and its just mayhem!

Snowpark is epic but I think you would get big bored doing a season there if your not a diehard park monkey! Remarks would be my pic but a great all round mountain, nice jumps, jibs all the way down the mountain and some sick freeriding when the conditions allow!

Qt also has one of best nightlifes in NZ
