Subaru Legacy GT-B 2004 AWD Wagon.. does it need chains for NZ ski fields?? Im curious if anyone has any experience with this wagon on nz winter roads in the south?..From my understanding with the advanced traction control you cant use snow chains??.. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.. Chur!..

bro best to get some chain because if it says chain.. shit show in help they gonna let you up without them it might get up there but best beat just to play it safe is pick up a cheap pair of trade me

Yeah. get them as a backup cause if you have winter tires some days they say 'chains to all vehicles INCLUDING 4wd'. but 90% of the time you would be sweet with winter tires and 4wd. Good luck
