So what's happening with the video comp idea that was flying around at the beginning of the season? If NZsnowboard.com isn't going to do it does anyone know anybody else who's doing it...would be so key to get heaps of fresh edits rolling in weekly that arn't all by pro's...(no offence to the pro filmers out there the stuff coming in is awsome!)

Maybe there's an international comp somewhere that we've never heard of...?

...Maybe someone own's a label they want to get out there and could donate a few freebies to get the ball rolling...

Maybe wack together a 20sec clip getting the word out (not everyone checks the forums)...

theres www.reelcomp.com but with that you will be competing with all the american cool kids who use their parents credit cards to buy the latest cameras etc. I think it would be really good for new zealand snowboarding and filming. Tim Pearce is doing an amazing job, would be good to see some film crews getting more quality footage from the north island or start exploring terrain around nelson/kaikoura ranges, guess it comes down to funding though.

i fully reckon the comp is a sick idea get it running asap.. heard word of a bunch of people keen to start making some edits. get er up and running nzsnowboard boys

im with all the other doods on this one. people want to make fun little edits that will get noticed.. and this is the way to do it! im all for it!! asap asap
