What is Snowplanet?
Snowplanet is New Zealand's first and only all-year indoor snow resort where Aucklanders and tourists alike can experience the thrill of snowsports and atmosphere of a snow village close to Auckland. Snowplanet's giant snowhall features 50 centimetres of real powder snow, three lifts, a terrain park for snowboarders and separate learner area, for a fun day out irrespective of Auckland's weather.
The Mountain View Caf�© & Bar with panoramic views onto the snowhall, snowsport shop, rental centre and Snow Academy complement the excitement in the snow to offer an unforgettable day out, unlike any currently available in New Zealand!
Where are we?
From Auckland
Follow State Highway 1 North, exit at the "Silverdale" offramp, turn right at the first roundabout and cross the bridge over the motorway, cross the next roundabout and after 100m turn right into Small Road. Follow Small Road until the very end. Snowplanet is located beyond Action Raceway, the indoor go-kart track.
From Whangarei
Follow State Highway 1 to Auckland, exit at the "Silverdale" interchange approximately 30kms north of Auckland, turn left at the end of the offramp towards Orewa and turn right after 100m into Small Road. Follow Small Road until the very end. Snowplanet is located beyond Action Raceway, the indoor go-kart track.
