Great riding action expected in 3rd Cadbury Moro Slopestyle

5th September 2006

The third Cadbury Moro Slopestyle in a four strong series for freestylers takes place on Monday, September 11th at The Remarkables.

The event is to be held in the Up & Go Terrain Park and Youth Action Sports Co-ordinator Josh Clark is expecting a strong lineup of competitors on a newly reshaped slopestyle course.

Many of the Parklife Rider team will throw down tricks including Heath Patterson and Jethro Mains as well as several younger riders including Jossi Wells and Callie Conagham.

Josh says The Remarkables is regarded as the home of slopestyle and this series is fun and exciting for both competitors and spectators.

?Freestylers on snowboards or skis will use the terrain park features and rails as part of the slopestyle line. It?s a great event for spectators who can watch up to 70 competitors while enjoying an Aotearoa flavoured soundtrack.?

A cash and product prize pool valued at around $3000 is on offer including product from sponsors Flow Snowboards, Quest Board Shop, Bakoda and Pro Tec.

?The park crew has been hard out working and the course is looking fantastic following reshaping for the recent NZ Snowboard National Championships?.

For those entering Monday?s competition, there is a $25 entry fee and a $20 fully refundable bib deposit. Registration takes place between 9:00am and 10:30am at The Remarkables Terrain Park Shack with the competition kicking off at 11:30am.
