The worst winter snowfall in recent history in Australia has forced the cancellation of the TTR 4(four) Star event, Stylewars, scheduled to run over the 5th to 12th of September at Falls Creek, Australia. The first Southern Hemisphere event to join the TTR World Snowboard Tour last season, Stylewars was scheduled to wrap up the ?Down Under? leg of the expanded 06/07 Tour.

With almost no snow arriving leading up to the event, organizer Richard Hegarty, had no choice but to cancelled the 06 edition of ?Stylewars?. ?Despite incredible support from the Falls Creek management and our Sponsors, when we looked at the all the options at our disposal we were not confident to pull off the event to the standards we have set for ourselves,? said Hegarty, ?We look forward to re-launching the event in the 07/08 season.? The TTR looks forward to seeing Stylewars re-join the Tour next season.

With the 4(four) Star points no longer available, Americans, Scotty Lago and Ellery Hollingsworth will top the TTR World Snowboard Tour Championship race as the Tour heads back to the Northern Hemisphere in November.
