The Revolution Tour is used to qualify U.S. athletes for World Juniors, U.S. Open, U.S. World Cup, USASA Nationals and Project Gold camps so provided Stewart with a good idea of the level of competition hell face at the upcoming Junior World Championship which take place here in New Zealand in August 2010.
Halfpipe and slopestyle athletes 13 and older compete together in an open-class event.
In his bid for a spot on the NZ Winter Olympics team, Stewart has spent most of his time competing at a World Cup level where he is more often than not one of the youngest athletes in the field.
"Winning this competition felt great, said Stewart.
It was nice to ride with my friends and with people my own age.
Ive always liked Copper Mountains 18 foot pipe."
Stewart is on reserve for the NZ Olympic Team and will step in if either James Hamilton or Mitch Brown are injured and unable to compete.
