Boreal, USA Opening to the Top

Boreal will open terrain to the top of the mountain Friday, December 1st by opening the Accelerator Express Quad Chair. 14 inches of new snow fell during the last week of November, giving the resort an opportunity to open more terrain. Top-to-bottom groomed runs will be available for all skiing and snowboarding ability levels. Ski and snowboard lessons and rentals are available daily.
In addition to the Accelerator Express Quad, Gunnar?s and Nugget double chairs and two Moving Carpet beginner surface lifts will also operate this weekend. Additional terrain park features, including the Planet Earth Staircase are being added every day. Night skiing and snowboarding is available at Boreal, so you can ski or ride daily from 9am to 9pm. Playland Sledding will open for daily operations starting this Saturday as well. The Boreal Skate Bowl is also now open Wednesday thru Sunday.
