Snowboarder Abby Lockhart Continues Her Winning Streak
Lake Wanaka, NZ (19 January 2012) - After a stellar southern hemisphere season where she won the 4-star Freeride World Tour Qualifying event at Whakapapa and was overall winner of the 2011 World Heli Challenge, Wanaka snowboarder Abby Lockhart has once again taken the top spot, this time at a 4 Star Freeride World Tour Qualifying event in La Clusaz, France.

This was Lockharts first major competition of the Northern Hemisphere season and she was thrilled to continue her winning streak. Im stoked to start the Northern Hemisphere season with a win, said Lockhart.
After a brief hiatus, Lockhart returned to competitive snowboarding last season when it was announced that snowboard slopestyle would be added at the next Winter Olympics. In addition to competing in big mountain events, Lockhart is also a top contender in snowboard slopestyle and big air.
