Ju Bray and Jossi Wells Helping Teenagers become Freeski and Snowboard Stars
10th May 2007

Jossi Wells and Juliane Bray will be sharing freestyle ski and snowboard tricks with teenagers at Cardrona this July school holidays.
?I?ve learned so much at Cardrona over the decade I?ve been skiing there I?d like to give something back to younger skiers?, says Wells (16 years, X Games skier). ?I?ll pass on the odd tip about the basics of skiing rails, half pipes and jumps to help teenagers who are keen to give it a go but not really sure how to do it?.
Teenagers can sign up to a 5 day programme starting either Monday 2 July or Monday 9 July at the Cardrona High Performance Centre (HPC) to learn half pipe, rails, jumps, and big mountain skills under the safe supervision of expert HPC instructors. They need to be Level 6 black run skiers or snowboarders and the programme will last all day. The cost is $490 and does not include a lift pass.
?Its just the best to place to learn freestyle moves?, says Ju Bray (31, Olympic snowboarder). ?With so many rails, jumps, and half pipes plus the big mountain options, Cardrona is the place to become an expert boarder?.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the NZ July school holidays, Jossi and Ju will be joining various groups alongside the HPC coaches.
