New Team Leader for Mt Hutt Snowsports
1st June 2007

Mt Hutt Ski Area welcomes Pania Brown as their new Snowsports School team leader.
Pania is no stranger to Mt Hutt where she?s worked since 1995.
During this time, she has spent her shoulder seasons working back-back-winters overseas in the US, mainly at top ski resort Deer Valley in Utah.
?We?re pleased to have Pania on board as a member of our management team,? said the Director of Mt Hutt Snowsports Dave Grogan.
?Pania has her own style and brings to life the enjoyment that skiing and snowboarding offer to the industry. We look forward to working closely with her.?
Pania?s main roles will include running Mt Hutt?s ski and snowboard training program (run in conjunction with Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology), which trains students to a high standard in skiing and snowboarding to prepare them for New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) exams.
She will also be responsible for Instructor Training Program (ITP) programs for those hoping to enter the snowsports industry, again preparing them for (NZSIA) exams.
Grogan: ?We see Pania?s role this season as helping to drive new business into the Snowsports School by further developing women?s programs, such as the Women?s K2 program, specifically designed by women to help women to teach in an environment that is conducive to their improvement.?
