The first round of the Parklife Youth Mini Shred series was held yesterday the 8th of August in the Fruju Beginner Park at The Remarkables ski area.

Absolutely perfect weather conditions and an awesome course made for a stunner of a day according to Youth Action Coordinator Josh Clark.

?The course was set overnight with a wicked selection of boxes and rails consisting of a 10 ft flat box into a 15ft butter box, 10ft flat rail then a massive 25ft battle ship box (up flat down box).

?After watching today?s effort it was clear the groomies are killing it, putting their bodies on the line all in the name of FUN and glory.

?Plenty of tech tricks where thrown down on all the features. Cab 270 on and off, 540?s on the boxes, switch press you name it these kids where doing it.?

There were prizes from Alta Queenstown, K2 and plenty of free Fuju to hand out to the crowd and riders, so there were smiles from competitors and parents alike!
