Early Monday the wind began to ease and the sun started rising, leaving skiers & Snowboarders with a bluebird day to explore the mountain.  With Tuesday and Wednesday following suit, the vibe on the mountain was filled with stoked skiers & snowboarders riding their favourite lines.  The venue pictures were taken on Wednesday, August 15th by Whakapapa Patrollers.

We will continue to provide weekly photos and updates leading up to the Nokia Extreme.  If you are planning on heading to the mountain for some turns and to check out the venue, drop an email to Brian at events.turoa@mtruapehu.com.  This news letter is for all the competitors and to your benefit we value rider input.
