DC Snowboard Team Keeps It Fun For The Second Full Length Video
Vista, CA?DC is pleased to announce the release of its second full-length snowboarding video: Mtn.Lab 1.5. Hitting retail stores late October 2007, Mtn.Lab 1.5 follows the DC Snowboarding Team as they cross the globe looking for snow during the challenging season. Featured is DC?s entire pro team including its international amateur members: Devun Walsh, Aaron Bittner, Iikka Backstom, Lauri Heiskari, Todd Richards, Travis Rice, Eddie Wall, Bjorn Lienes, Chas Guldemond, Torstein Horgmo and Jonas Carlson. Returning for his second role as director for DC is Pierre Wikberg, who also directed DC?s 2005 Mtn.Lab video and the Robot Food Trilogies. Originally, Mtn.Lab 1.5 was to be named Mtn.Lab 2.0, but the poor snow season in Utah forced reconsideration of the title. The new title - Mtn.Lab 1.5 - was chosen because DC decided that it didn?t get the level of snowshred action from the Mtn.Lab to live up to the sequel name of ?2.0?.
?I could say that the season was challenging, but everyone already knows that. I think our new title lays it out perfectly,? explained DC Co-Founder, Ken Block. ?Despite that, we were able to make an amazing video that lives up to the Mtn.Lab name and really showcases the fun and importance of the Lab for DC, plus the guys got great footage from filming trips all over world. The team put in big effort and Pierre (Wikberg) brought his magic to the screen once again.?
Following in the same spirit of The Mtn.Lab, the video takes a fun look at the team as they hit spots worldwide and, of course, DC?s infamous Mtn.Lab in Utah. The remodeled Lab provides ample park footage along with big mountain terrain from Chile, Finland, B.C. Canada, Sweden, Tahoe, Colorado and New Zealand throughout the video.
Along with the exotic locales and exciting footage, look for bonus features and hidden movies to be include by Director Pierre Wikburg. Mtn.Lab 1.5 will feature unique packaging and can be picked up just in time to get stoked for the upcoming season.
