As part of Coronet Peak?s multi-million dollar base building redevelopment, the first section of structural steel roof frame was lifted into place this week.

The massive roof frame lift required two cranes to complete the job. Erection of precast exterior panels continues and internal framing work is underway.

The redeveloped building will include expanded service areas downstairs and new caf?, bar, restaurant, function and cr?che areas opening onto a massive new deck upstairs. The project is set for completion in time for the 2008 winter season.
