How do you like to ski – str8 or gay?

3rd July 2008

The organisers of Gay Ski Week NZ have today announced a brand new event for straight skiers and theyre not talking about those who ski on 80s style straight skis.

The new event is planned for the second week in September and will immediately follow Gay Ski Week (29 August to 7 September).

Organiser Mike Sanford says theres a market for an event targeting singles and couples whod enjoy a programme similar to Gay Ski Week NZ.

The people were targeting are those who love to come to Queenstown, want to meet new people and have fun.  Theyre keen to just book and come and know that every day and night is taken care of with activities theyll enjoy and where theyll meet like-minded people.

Basically the success of Gay Ski Week NZ has created a demand for STR8 Ski Week. Well get underway on 7 September, the very day the gays get packing - apart from the ones wholl stay over of course.

A stellar line up of activities and entertainment has been planned and will include parties, wine tours, a spa day, bowling, karaoke, nightly aprs ski drinks, and of course, skiing or boarding.

Theres so much on offer here for busy people.  Weve already had amazing interest from singles, couples and groups who are delighted that well prepare them a really social and fun week with some skiing squeezed in.

should article's like this be put up on a SNOWBOARDING community site? Doesn't seem that relevant even tho there are plenty of gay snowboarders.
