Conditions were perfect for competitors who impressed both judges and spectators with their consistently strong technical ability.

Josh Clark, Youth Action Sports Co-ordinator for The Remarkables and Coronet Peak said the crowd enjoyed some pretty gnarly tricks.

It was quite a challenging course in that it was long and included seven major features but the standard of performance was really strong, he said.

He said Nick Hyne (member of the Parklife Rider Team) won the Mens Snowboard event by putting together some impressive jumps and fairly technical freestyle moves.

Shelley Gotlieb always rides hard and strong and put in a solid performance to win the Womens Snowboard event.

Jonas Marcinko and Jennifer Hirsh won the Mens Ski and Womens Ski events respectively.

Results were as follows:

Mens Snowboard
Nick Hyne 1st
Robett Hollis 2nd
Mark Anderson 3rd

Sina Candrina 2nd
Callie Conaghan 3rd
